Forward Matty Taylor, a new Bristol City FC signing, “stole” a goal from his partner in attack, Milan Djuric (Milan Đurić), and he’s not apologetic about it !
“Milan (Djuric) has nodded it down and I’ve touched it – it’s not a massive touch but I’ve touched it and I want it. I don’t like goals being taken off me.”
Quite the contrary, as you can read in this quote from club’s official website interview, Taylor asserts himself, brazenly, and admits he touched the ball because he wanted – on the line and completely unnecessarily, should be noted – so that he, asshole, can take credit for a goal from Milan.
The goal in question was late one scored by Milan Djuric, and subsequently, 7 days later, reviewed by EFL “Dubious Goals” committee and credited to Matty Taylor, in Bristol’s 2-1 away defeat against Leeds Utd. on February 14.
So, yeah, Matty “don’t like goals being taken off” him, but that certainly doesn’t stop him taking goals from his teammate.
Well, fuck you asshole !
At first Milan Djuric was credited with this goal, which should have been his second, however, EFL “Dubious Goals” committee decide that Taylor’s touch at the goal-line was enough to re-assign goal to him.
OK, then – instead second goal Milan at least earned his second assist, since he came to the club.
Milan signed for Bristol City this winter from Cezena, and it was clear from the outset it will be tough for our guy to prove himself in struggling and generally awful Championship side.
Milan debuted on January 7, 2017 in FA Cup home game against Fleetwood 0-0. In his first league game, on January 14, he made assist in 2-3 home loss against Cardiff. On February 4, 2017 he scored his first league goal for his new club, and only goal in a game against Rotherham, for Bristol’s only Championship victory in 10 games since December 3, 2016.
It was Milan’s seventh game for the club and fourth in Championship, which isn’t so bad if you have in mind team’s appalling form.
Now he added another assist where it should stand a goal, thanks to his attacking partner Matty Taylor, who touched the ball on its way in, needlessly, at the very goal-line !?
Ooh, mein Gott !
You don’t do it, simple as that – regardless of situation, you don’t “steal” goals in this manner from any of your teammates, especially not from your attacking partner, who, by the way, is also new arrival and also struggle to assert himself as a goal-scoring forward in extremely weak and struggling team. This is simply something you don’t do, period !
So, fuck you Matty “The Thief” Taylor, asshole !
Was it your goal at Leeds?Yes! Milan (Djuric) has nodded it down and I’ve touched it – it’s not a massive touch but I’ve touched it and I want it. I don’t like goals being taken off me. I had one in the Conference when a lad had a shot, it hit me and completely changed direction to go into the other corner and I still didn’t get it! I’m hoping in the Championship they have a few more angles and that doesn’t happen again. – in an interview for club’s official web portal bcfc.co.uk
